The Silicone Rubber Bakewell Spadetube & Spadecap are simply pushed over the tab requiring masking, after any pre-cleaning operations. The part can now be coated and stoved. The tubes or caps should be removed while the part is still warm. Coating build up can be removed by rubbing between finger and thumb, or rumbling.
An additional application for the Silicone Rubber Bakewell Spadetube & Spadecap products is isolation of circuits, where the tube, or cap becomes and insulator of the spades. The tube offers to option of inserting a test probe inside the tube for circuit testing.
