The Hammerhead silicone rubber plug is unique to AFAC. Its double ended design means you literally get twice as much for your money. Stocked in silicone rubber but available in other materials, the hammerhead silicone rubber plug has been designed specifically to mask threaded metric holes. The shallower taper of this silicone rubber plug means operators can achieve a good seal at both ends of the thread in rivet bushes and weld nuts. All it takes is a twist on install.

The double ended version of the BAKEWELL Bung was developed in the early nineties and has been a favourite for customers ever since. There is no need for operators to orientate the plug before using it. The extra length also makes them easier to fit and remove than some other plugs in the range.

The taper of this silicone rubber plug has been developed to give the best possible seal, while the portion projecting from the hole allows easy insertion and removal, without masking the area around the hole. As no orientation is needed, the BAKEWELL HAMMERHEAD is the fastest hole masking system available. Colour coding assists in identification. The twin ended design means twice the life of other masking plugs.
